Outside
Shared use of the 9m x 4m swimming pool. Please note that the pool has a uniform depth of 1.4m. The pool is normally open from the middle of May until the middle of September but is dependent on the weather and clients’ requirements. Poolside tables, chairs, loungers and sun umbrellas are provided.
Shared laundry facilities (washing machine, iron and ironing board) are available for guests’ use and are located in the cupboard under the stairs to the upstairs apartment.
Inside
Each apartment has its own individual hot water and heating controls.
All bedlinen, bathtowels, kitchen towels and pool/beach towels are provided and are changed on a weekly basis.
All accommodation is non-smoking.
General Information
Start Day
Our start day is normally a Saturday but please do get in touch with us if you would like to start your holiday on another day. If our existing bookings allow, we would be more than happy to consider your request. Arrivals are normally after 4.00pm with departure no later than 10.00am on your last day. We may be able to be flexible with this so please check with us.
Booking the whole House
The house lends itself to two families who wish to holiday together but retain their independence. We offer a discount of 10% on the total rental if both apartments are booked together, for the same holiday period and by the same group, for two weeks or more, when booked directly through this website. This discount cannot be used with any other offers currently available.
Security Deposit
Babies
We can provide a travel cot for young babies and a high chair but please bring your own cot linen. Please request either or both of these when you make your booking.
Welcome Pack
A small pack of provisions is provided on your arrival to welcome you to Casa Fenice. This will normally consist of pasta, sauce, Parmesan cheese, butter, tea, coffee, milk, jam, fruit juice, mineral water and a bottle of wine. This should see you through your first evening’s meal and breakfast the following morning.
How to get here
Our nearest airport is Ancona which is approximately 80 minutes drive from Casa Fenice. Ryanair has flights from Stansted-Ancona arriving around 1.10pm. Further afield there are airports at Perugia (approximately 2 hrs drive); Pescara (approximately 2 hrs 20 mins drive); Rimini (approximately 2 hrs 30 mins drive); Bologna (approximately 3 hrs drive) and finally Rome at approximately 4 hrs drive. Please go to www.ryanair.com for further details regarding their flights to these airports.
How to get around
We strongly recommend hiring a car to enable you to make the most of your holiday. Car hire is available from both Ancona (www.ancona-airport.com) and Pescara (www.abruzzo-airport.it) airports. The companies represented at these airports are Hertz; Europcar; Avis; Maggiore; Sixt and Auto-Europe.
Who are we?
We are Jenny and Pete and have lived here in Le Marche since 2004. We live on-site but we respect our clients’ privacy at all times. However, we are also available to help you with any information and advice that you may need during your stay.
