Bookings and Payment

 

Please contact us by telephone or e-mail to ascertain if the apartment you require is available.  If it is, then we will hold it for you for 4 days pending receipt of your completed booking form.  Once we have received your completed form we will forward to you our bank account details after which your deposit must be received by us within 10 days.  We require a deposit of 30% of the full amount of the booking if more than 8 weeks prior to your arrival.  If less than 8 weeks prior to your arrival, then payment in full is required.

 

A receipt and confirmation of your booking will be issued once your deposit/full payment is received.  If you are only paying the deposit, then the balance must be received by us not less than 8 weeks before commencement of your holiday.  A reminder will be sent to you approximately 2 weeks before your balance is due.  Again a receipt will be issued once payment has been received.  At the same time we will forward to you directions to the apartment.

 

Bookings are arranged either by the owners or on their behalf.  Our Terms and Conditions form part of your holiday agreement with us.  The person who makes the booking does so on his/her behalf and on behalf of all members of his/her party and is also responsible for ensuring that all monies due have been paid.

 

If you are returning a completed booking form by email without signature this will constitute a signed form and will be accepted by yourselves and ourselves as such.

 

 

 

 

Letting and Occupancy

 

Our normal letting days are from Saturday (arrival after 4.00pm) to Saturday (departure by 10.00am) unless other arrangements have been agreed between us.  Under no circumstances must the number of people in your party exceed the number of people stated on your booking form.

 

Security Deposit

 

A security deposit of €200 in cash (or €300 if you have booked both apartments), is payable on your arrival at Casa Fenice. If your preferred currency is Sterling, then we will accept £200 for one apartment booked or £300 if both apartments are booked. From this security deposit we reserve the right to deduct costs to cover any losses, breakages or damage to the property and/or its contents during your stay.  At the end of your holiday, following the inspection of your apartment(s) the remainder, or the full amount if there are no costs to recover will be returned to you on your departure.

 

Cancellation/Holiday Insurance

 

In the event that you need to cancel your booking, we must receive notification in writing from the person who made the original booking.  This notification will take effect from the date on which we receive it and the following penalties will be applied:-

 

· Cancellation more than 8 weeks before arrival date – deposit

· Cancellation between 4-8 weeks – 50% of total rental

· Cancellation less than 4 weeks – 100% of total rental

 

We reserve the right to cancel your booking if your final payment has not been received by us by the due date, and in these circumstances your deposit will be forfeited.

 

The apartments and the facilities (including the swimming pool) are used entirely at the user’s own risk.  We strongly recommend that you take out personal travel and holiday cancellation insurance to cover medical problems, loss, injury or damage to yourself or your belongings, travel delays and/or cancellation.  We cannot accept liability whatsoever for these events.
